Mediated agreements typically cost a fraction of traditionally litigated divorces. That’s because you and not your lawyers are doing the negotiating and unlike the litigation process, mediation does not drag on indefinitely since there is no lag time in communication that is associated with four party negotiations. Mediation time is charged on an hourly basis. We offer an initial thirty minute introductory session so that you and your spouse can see how divorce mediation will work for you. The fee for this first session is only $100 and if we are retained within thirty days of your initial session you will receive a credit for that fee towards your separation agreement.
